Design and Schedule Preparation
Whenever the Tender asks for preparation of design deliverables that would need to be incorporated in your Bid, we would be able to provide the concept design calculations for structural, hydraulics and process part of the design for all Water / Wastewater Infrastructure projects.
In case the Tender calls for preparation of preliminary schedule, our Experts will be able to assist in schedule development that is in accordance with Tender requirements. Proper review and advice on Scheduling requirements is part of this service.
Contractual Review & Risk Analysis
Our Experts would evaluate the Standard and Particular Conditions of Contract for inconsistencies, conflicts with other documents and provide a recommendation for the preparation of the Bid Document. A comprehensive list of issues would be generated, and you would decide if you would seek clarification from the Employer or incorporate this knowledge in your Bid in another way.
A structured Risk Analysis could be performed prior to contract signing or later as part of the Project Management requirements.

The scope will include listing of all possible risks, assess the potential impacts and develop a Control Plan to anticipate such impacts. Contractual mechanisms should be negotiated to eliminate risk in the event the Control Plan cannot be implemented. The following risks categories would be included in the analysis:
• Contractual
• Technical
• Procurement
• Construction
• Financial
• Managerial
• Schedule
We have our in-house developed Risk Management templates but can adjust our work to any required pattern.

Technical Analysis
Our Team would assess the Invitation to Tender, Specifications, Drawings and Design Scope and seek for contentious items that may affect the Cost, Schedule or create any risk in the Project execution. We would then provide our recommendation how to deal with them.
We would also evaluate (along with the Legal Team) the suggested subcontract with proposed Design Professional (often required in the Design-Build Government Contracts, but their role remains unclear and not properly defined) and provide the advice for boundaries of the scope and the way how the changes (requiring the design input) would be handled.

Advise in handling the Geotechnical Baseline Report for Bidding (GBR-B) for the major infrastructure projects is the service where we can assist.
Procurement Analysis
Review the Preamble and BoQ (Schedule of Prices for EPCs) and highlight the risks associated with equipment that might be over specified (input from the Technical Team), unavailable or difficult to purchase (example is unusual materials that might be proposed by the Design Professional during the Design Process), evaluate the consistency with Standard Condition of Contract.
Review the impact of the Approved Vendor List to the Final Cost and Schedule and advise on the best Procurement Strategy.

Constructability Assessment
We would Perform Constructability Analysis and will seek for the errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in the Technical Part of the Tender.
Sometimes, over specifying would shift proposed equipment towards custom made field and sometimes the conflicting requirements will make construction or ordering of some equipment practically impossible.
Our Experts with great design and construction experience would advise you about possible Construction Methodology for consistency and completeness.
Administrative Support
Final checking of the Bid Document for completeness with suggested steps for its improvement is the last service in the Bid Preparation Process we are ready to offer.
Our Experts would be able to prepare a comprehensive Tender Evaluation Report and highlight all points of interest. The Client may then choose to clarify these items with the Employer or adjust their Bid accordingly.
